HMC/CAH Consolidated

HMC/CAH Consolidated, Inc. is an industry leading consolidator of Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). Since 1982, HMC/CAH and its predecessor companies have provided consulting, development, and management services to more than 800 hospitals throughout the United States. HMC/CAH Consolidated, Inc. was formed in April 2007.

The business existing prior to the formation of HMC/CAH was formally known as Hospital Management Consulting (HMC) and was founded in 2000 to specialize in the management, operation, strategic and financial planning, and new service development for inpatient and outpatient healthcare providers.

In the past seven years, HMC and now HMC/CAH has worked with over 200 rural hospitals, 150 of which have been Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs).

HMC/CAH’s engagements have included approximately 25 major hospital replacement or expansion projects. HMC/CAH currently owns 9 critical access hospitals and counting.
