Krista began working for Prague Municipal Hospital in June 1998, as Director of Health Information Management.  Krista graduated with honors from East Central University (Ada) in 1998, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management.  She then passed the national certification exam to become a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) in October 1998. 

Krista’s responsibilities include, managing the Health Information (Medical Records) department, which includes the following duties: inpatient and outpatient coding, chart analysis, statistical reporting, state reporting, and cancer registry reporting.  Krista also serves as the Medical Staff Coordinator which includes:  credentialing/privileging physicians and mid-level providers, filing Medicare and Medicaid provider applications; and coordinating, planning and preparing minutes for Super Committee and Medical Staff meetings.  In addition to these duties Krista also serves as HIPAA privacy officer, providing HIPAA education at orientation and as needed, as well as investigating privacy concerns/complaints.  Krista is on the Board of Prague Healthcare Alliance, Inc., where she serves as Secretary.

Krista lives in Prague, which is also her hometown.  She and her husband, Jonathan, have two children, Kinsey (age 7) and Zachary (age 5).  Krista’s favorite hobbies are scrapbooking and spending time with her children.
