Prague Hospital not only underwent a change of ownership December 1st but also has changed its name. “We are now doing business as Prague Community Hospital. This better reflects our service and status as the word ‘municipal’ gives the implication that we are operated by the city or other municipal authority. We are very excited about the new ownership under HMC/CAH Consolidated, Inc. our parent company. While we do not have a definite start date we do have plans to build a new hospital” stated Joan Walters, CEO of the hospital.
